Christmas Tree and Crawlin'

Last week the kiddos were hit with a fierce cold, so I apologize for the delay in getting our Christmas tree post up!  We managed to bundle them up and head to the tree lot to quickly pick out the perfect tree.

 We spent most of the weekend decorating the house and getting ready for the holiday fun.

 Uncle Brandon even helped out by topping the tree with our Christmas star!

Yesterday Sophie had her dress rehearsal for her first dance show which is next weekend!  We'll have all the fun dance pictures next week after the show, but here she is posing in front of the tree with her hair still slicked back in a bun since we ran out to do some shopping after rehearsal.  Doesn't she look so grown up? Just wait until you see her in her dance costume...

 This morning the kids were playing in their PJ's with some serious bed head-- I couldn't resist taking some pictures of them by the tree.

And our biggest news this week, now that they're just about recovered from their colds, is that Jack turned 8 months on Friday and started crawling!! We are so proud of him and he is super excited that he finally figured it out (he's been trying for 4 months now!).  I'm unable to post large videos, so here's a quick example and "evidence" of his new discovery ;)
