Rainy Day Play

Well, I don't know what it's been like this week for all of you, but it's been very wet and rainy here! This means we've had a lot of indoor activity and we're making the best of it. While I know that we've desperately needed the rain, I won't complain when the sun decides to come back out.

We've also been spoiled this week with having papa around a bit more. He was one of the lucky ones to have Monday off as a work holiday so we had him for a 3 day weekend! He also had a shorter day of work yesterday and he has Friday off as part of his work schedule, so we are definitely spoiled having him around, spending the cozy rainy days with us!

Sophie loves to play and hasn't been phased at all with staying indoors the past couple of days. She's content to play all day long with her toys. She especially loves when mama or papa join her in her fun.
Yesterday was a big event! She had her friend Jake over for some play time. Jake's mommy and I had a great time cracking up over the two of them sizing each other up and deciding how to react with one another. Here they are holding each other's hands. Too sweet!
