It's hard to believe Christmas is only days away! We are officially done with our Christmas shopping, which is a great feeling and has allowed us to have a rainy day at home relaxing today.
On Thursday, Sophie and I visited papa at work. She was the hit of the office and even had her first trip into the court room. I didn't take my camera with me for the court, but I did snag a few in papa's office. She was very curious to see what papa is up to while he's away from home!
She even nosed her way through a few of his files (I think we may have another attorney in training):
She was very happy to see that Santa visited papa's office, as promised! Here she is sitting with Kris, listening to Santa tell a story:
We were very happy (and honestly surprised) that she went to Santa without any problems, and even sat on his lap. Of course the fact that she got a present out of the deal probably helped matters:
In fact, Sophie was lucky enough to see Santa two days in a row! He also made a visit to papa's office Christmas party on Friday night -- and the most exciting thing was that he asked papa to be his special Elf helper:
Once again, she took to Santa without any problems (and yes, got another gift out of the deal):
She's certainly getting the hang of Christmas now! We can't wait to see how she reacts Christmas morning. The one thing we continue to work on his getting her to say Santa -- right now she calls him "Ah-hah" for some reason...I doubt there will be another post until we are home from our Christmas travels so we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!
