Hello again! We officially have a 2 year old and a 2 month old on our hands! It is funny how it seems as though the day she turned 2 Sophie somehow magically knew it meant it was time to start challenging us a bit more. We know she's just asserting her independence and figuring things out, but it sure does require a lot of patience on our end, which is sometimes hard to come by, if I'm being honest! She blows our mind with some of the sentences she puts together and she's a little sponge when it comes to learning new things. Kris is slowly teaching her all the states and their capitols! She knows California, Hawaii, Alaska, Nebraska and Michigan!
It is also funny that the day she turned 2 she took it upon herself to start calling me Mom (instead of mama) and Kris Pops (instead of papa). I think it's pretty funny that she calls him pops, but our little girl is definitely growing up!
At her 2 year check up she weighed 28 lbs and is 34 in tall. She's in the 70th percentile for height and weight and is still super healthy :)
As for Jack, he's also very healthy! He just had his 2 month checkup today and weighs 12 lbs, 6 ozs and is 23.5 in long. He's in the 70th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height!
As I mentioned in my last post, he's started smiling! I am biased, of course, but I think he has one of the best smiles and some cute little dimples :)

We are having a nice quiet weekend this weekend but will have visitors next weekend and the following weekend, so please stay tuned for more pictures of McFarren Family fun!
