Summer Kick-Off

Once again it's been a couple of weeks since my last post. We've kicked off the summer with many family visits and therefore have a ton of pictures to show for it.

Two weeks ago we were happy to have a visit from Kris' cousin Ken and his wife Janet. They live in Wyoming but were in town visiting Janet's son and graciously included us in their quick trip to California. We were happy to see them as it'd been many years since Kris and Ken had seen each other, and I'd never met them (in the 13 years Kris and I have been together!).

We also celebrated my brother's 25th birthday and had another visit from Grandma Robin and Grandpa Gordon. Unfortunately I was enjoying myself so much and taking my role of hostess for the birthday bash rather seriously, so I was unable to grab any pictures of the event. I can tell you Sophie and Jack loved having their grandparents around and were especially happy to see Uncle Brandon!

This past weekend we had even more family visiting, this time from Grandma Suzie, Grandpa Glenn, Tia and Tio. We also had the extended family over for a BBQ to finally meet Jack. It was a big celebration!

Jack seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. Tia and Tio met him for the first time and they seemed to hit it off.
We had some fun at the park where Kris brought out the airplane again. This time Grandpa Glenn tried to see if he could make it do any tricks:
