A Boy and His Harmonica

As many of you may have heard, last week we were given a reminder of just how precious life is and how thankful we are for our health and our loved ones.  Without wasting too much time, I will just say the kids and I were in a car accident (a car turned in front of me on my green light) and thankfully our angels above were looking out for us.  Nobody was injured in the 3 car smash up, aside from my sore neck and back, which is quite minor in my opinion after seeing the state of all of the cars.  My car will go out for repairs today and we continue to count our blessings, knowing what could have been.  That said, I have to mention the kids handled everything tremendously well.  They were incredibly calm throughout the entire aftermath.  I'm pretty sure Jack was just excited to see the 3 police cars and 3 fire trucks.  And the tow trucks were fun to watch too.  Sophie's concern was that she had to miss dance class (which we were on our way to) but she was very watchful and curious about everything happening.

We are keeping close to home while down to one (small) car in the house.  This weekend we were able to catch a video of Mr. Jack's musical skills.  He swiped the toy harmonica that we originally gave to Sophie and we are all amazed at what talent he has shown.  I just had to share!

I'll end this blog by saying we are so grateful for all of you in our lives.  Even though we are separated by distance, I hope you all know how much you mean to us.  Take care and have a great week!
