Pumpkins and Marathons

PUMPKINS AND MARATHONS - Hi everyone! We've had quite the hectic weekend filled with pumpkin patches and a Long Beach marathon. I apologize for the short blog, but I am so exhausted from all of the festivities, I have just enough energy to post a few pictures from the weekend to share the excitement. I should be back to writing more later this week...but come on...you only care about the pictures anyway! ;)

Sophie had her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday!! She absolutely loved looking around at all of the sights. We have a huge ranch near us that really goes all out. We went on a train through "scarecrow alley" climbed hay pyramids and saw a ton of animals for the very first time! Here are a few pictures of the highlights:

Today we woke up bright and early (4am) to head down to Long Beach for Daddy's 15th marathon! Sophie handled the event very well and Momma was pleased to have another cheerleader with her this time! Papa finished in 3 hours and 50 minutes and seems to be feeling pretty good! We are very proud of him.

We have a fun week ahead of us. One of my best friends, Kristina, is coming to stay with us for a few days! We are all very excited, so check back at the end of the week for more pictures!
