What a week! Since the last post we celebrated one of Kris' favorite holidays (St. Patrick's Day) and hosted Grandma Suzie, Grandpa Glenn and Aunt Jen for the weekend. Yesterday was a long day with little sleep and I've come down with a bit of a cold, so I'm going to keep this blog to mostly pictures and very few words.
That said, here are a few highlights last week's adventures:
Sophie's first St. Patty's Day:

Having a great time and trying so hard to stand!

Papa even "dressed up" for work (he had a government furlough day so the courts were closed). Here's Sophie trying on his festive hat:

Yesterday Aunt Jen and Papa ran the LA Marathon. The course was brand new this year -- beginning at Dodger Stadium and ending at the Santa Monica Pier. It was fun cheering them on, but not so easy with a little one. She wasn't thrilled to be woken up at 5am...

Aunt Jen and Papa getting ready to head to the Start:

Grandma Suzie and Sophie cheering on the marathoners:

Papa feeling good and blowing kisses our way:

Aunt Jen with a strong finish:

They did it! Aunt Jen continues to impress us with her amazing endurance. She finished in 3 hours and 27 minutes....just about 40 minutes or so ahead of papa :) That said, this was Kris' 17th marathon, if you can believe it!
So I think Kris needs to up the ante...how about a 50k or ultra? Nice job!!! You're a huge inspiration to me!! Cute pictures of Sophie too :-)
