Bubblerrific

Hello again! As Sophie continues to grow and take on the world as a "toddler" she is constantly making new discoveries. I think it's safe to say that she is now completely over her cold, which we're both very happy about. That said, last week she didn't let her cold keep her from getting into all sorts of new things.

She continues to be a great eater. I think she must have had a headache along with her cold though because last week she grabbed her head an awful lot -- even after eating ribs. Good thing it was bath night!
She is getting closer to walking but she can move around a lot faster crawling. I think she looks more like a little girl in this picture than a baby:
She's getting really good at standing for long periods of time too! Even while holding her lion :)
Since the evenings have been nice and warm, we've started exploring out in the front of our house where it's shady. Sophie loves to walk around like a big girl (with our help):

We also broke out the bubble machine last week (hence the title)! Sophie LOVES it!

And with the summer heat comes Popsicles! Last night we gave it our first try (notice how we strip her down for all messy foods!):
