New Things

This weekend we were in Pismo visiting Grandma Robin and Grandpa Gordon. Sophie had a great time playing with the play jumper that her cousin Brendan has now outgrown. There were so many fun things to play with and discover!
She liked it so much, that Santa Claus may have to bring her one of her very own ;)
The three of us enjoyed the weekend in Pismo. Even though Grandma was supposed to be resting, we helped her in the kitchen while she created several gourmet meals for mama and papa! And Sophie really enjoyed relaxing and playing with Grandma and Grandpa. She showed off her rolling skills and everything.
Sophie even did really well sitting on her own this weekend, so when we got home we decided it was time to put together her high chair. She loved it!
Up until now, we've been putting her car seat on one of our chairs while we sit at the table, and I think she's just super happy to have a chair of her very own, that even puts her a little higher than mama and papa.

She's also doing a great job on solid foods! So far we've mastered peas, squash, carrots and applesauce. She loves carrots:
We can't believe Thanksgiving is already next week! This week we'll be getting prepared for our visitors and possibly heading back up to Pismo for a bit. Depending on how busy things get, it may be another week or so before another post, but check back just in case. You never know!
