We hope everyone enjoyed their Turkey Day! We are spending our Sunday recovering from eating too much the past few days. It was a very nice visit from Grandma Suzie, Grandpa Glenn, Nina, Nino and Aunt Jen. They were all so surprised at how much Sophie has grown since they've seen her last. Here is a good picture with Grandma and Grandpa:

As many of you know, Sophie officially turned 6 months this past Wednesday, which also happened to be Aunt Jill's birthday as well as Nino's, so it was a big day for our family.

Since we'd already taken her in for her 6 month check up a few weeks earlier, all we needed to do was to get her flu shot since she was finally old enough for one. Luckily, the doctor's office also had enough for both mama and papa to get one too, so it was a family event! I am happy now that we've all had it.
This year Thanksgiving was held at cousin Karla and cousin Gordon's house. It was great to spend it with all of the family and of course there was plenty of food, so much so that we now have a refrigerator full of leftovers!
Here's a family photo of her first Thanksgiving:

And here's another one with her Nino (formerly known as Tio Dan):

I'm not sure how much of Thanksgiving Sophie really understood at this age, but I will tell you she was just as eager to eat her sweet potatoes as papa was for his turkey!

We hope you all enjoyed some time off for the holiday. Now it's time to switch into Christmas mode! I can't believe it! We will be getting our Christmas tree next weekend, so check back soon for more pictures!
