Tut Tut Looks Like...Sun?

It's hard to believe that yesterday it was pouring rain and very chilly outside because today is the perfect day! It's crystal clear (thanks to the rain), gorgeous sunshine and bright blue skies. We decided there was no better way to take in the beautiful day than to go play in the park!

We've had quite the relaxing weekend. We were supposed to have a couple of get togethers with friends both yesterday and today but both had to be rescheduled due to sickness (not us, both sets of friends) so we've found ourselves just hanging out the 3 of us. With the rain yesterday we were able to accomplish a few projects around the house and today we'll be enjoying a yummy BBQ dinner thanks to the gorgeous weather.

I should mention that on Friday we took the baby in for her 9 month checkup and she weighs a whopping 20 lbs! She is slowly starting to "average" out and is now in the 75th percentile for weight (rather than 80th). The doctor believes the nurse messed up recording her height though because she still came in at 26 inches (the same as last time) though we know she's grown taller than that. She was wiggling on the scale quite a bit so he said we'd just check it out next time and it was no big deal since she is so healthy. It's hard to believe her next check up will be when she turns 1 yr old! It's crazy how the time flies...

Here are some of our latest pictures from the last few days...

With her crawling everywhere now, she is so excited to be able to get to the toy shelf on her own:

And there are so many fun things to look at out the window:
She is starting to try to reach up and pull up on things by herself:
Papa is a good place to try to stand!
Park time! Not so sure about this swing....
She loved the horsey:Sophie's first slide:

Posing with mama at the park:
What does that wheel do mama?
Mama pretending to "dunk" the baby:
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone! We plan on watching the closing ceremonies for the Olympics and will probably head to bed early to get a good start on the week! Check back soon!

  1. What a cutie! I love the videos. If only children can stay so innocent and good spirited!
It looks like Sophie will be standing and cruising in no time!
Do you three have any plans on coming to Northern CA this year? Let us know. We could try to go to Sacto too!
