It's been a fun-filled week! Thursday night saw the arrival of Grandma Suzie, Grandpa Glenn, Tia and Tio (Tiffany & Dan). This was Sophie's first time meeting Tia and Tio and of course they hit it off. Kris joked that Sophie doesn't look quite so small when her Tia holds her!
Friday we spent the day hanging out and playing with Sophie. She was very good and spent most of the day napping. Even though we try very hard to keep the temperature cool inside (daddy is choking over our A/C bill this sumer!) I think the heat makes Sophie even extra sleepy. Here's a cute picture I caught earlier last week -- I know some of you may be panicked with her sleeping on her tummy but don't worry, I always keep a close eye on her -- especially when she practically face-plants herself (I turned her head after taking this picture).
Saturday was a big day! We had a lot of family over to meet Sophie for the first time. Grandpa Glenn and Daddy grilled earlier in the day and Grandma Suzie made yummy salsa and salads and plenty more food was brought over by all our visitors. Here's a picture of cousin Karla with Sophie.
With everyone over, we also had a chance to get a new family photo.
Sophie was very well behaved meeting all of her family. The party was a success!
Yesterday we spent the day relaxing some more.
This morning Grandpa Glenn, Tia and Tio had to say goodbye and head home. We get to spend the next few days with Grandma Suzie. This morning we went on a walk and went to the grocery store. I think we're planning to stay in for the rest of the day because it's already very warm outside!I hope you all had a great weekend and are having a good start to your week. Check back again soon!
