Kris and I are starting to get the hang of things.
We are also introducing her to "tummy time." She continues to amaze us with her strength and we're convinced she'll be rolling over in no time!
It was so great having family with us all of last week. It's odd knowing that we are now on our own, without any grandparents helping us out! We do have Uncle Brandon hanging out with us for a little while until he heads off to the Airforce. I also feel incredibly lucky because Kris is home for another 2 weeks.
It is such a huge help having him around while I recover and while the 3 of us adjust together.
I admire every woman out there who has ever had to do this on her own. And it's been great because he's really been able to bond with Sophie.
Anyway, that's the latest update with us.
I will hopefully be posting more frequently now that i'm starting to adjust and feeling better and better with each day. Hope you're all well and thanks again to all of you for your well wishes and support!
This is really quite a joy to watch. You guys look much more rested (or you've adjusted to the exhaustion--either way, woohoo!).
ReplyDeleteYay for cutting the cord and flying on your own. Looking forward to more, and glad you two are getting into the rhythm! :)
Hi Kristi and Kris, Hope you guys are doing great. You look like you are pros already! Kristi, you look terrific! Sophie is soo cute. We have the same bath tub and car seat... great minds think alike. ;) I know it is tough just being the two of you. Yay for Kris being off work!!! Kristi, seriously feel free to call or email me if you need any advice... I love giving advice - ask any of my friends. :) Great job guys! --Lisa
ReplyDeleteWe love those big eyes! She sure is taking in the world around her! I must agree that you guys are looking more rested, which I hope means Sophie is letting you sleep more! Enjoy the next few weeks before Kris has to go back to work too. I hope you get lots of time to rest, shower, and just enjoy your little bundle! She is too adorable.
